This week has been amazing! I’ve experienced some incredible things that I can’t wait to share. But first, let me tell you where I am and what I’m doing. Right now, I am in Gainesville, Georgia, for training, which will last for the next couple of weeks.

So, what does this training look like, you may ask? I wake up around 6:00 to 6:30 AM and start with a 30 minute workout. After that, I meet with my team for a group devotion. We then go into an hour of worship, which is truly amazing, followed by an hour long message, teaching, or training.

What happens after this can vary, but it usually involves a lot of team building and working together with my squad to strengthen the bonds we need for the work ahead. We have lunch around 1:00 PM (I’m always really hungry by then) and enjoy some good conversations with my squadmates. After lunch, there are usually more team building activities and teachings, mixed with some free time before dinner.

After dinner, we have the freedom to do whatever we want until our bedtime at 11 PM. During this free time, most of our group gathers on a patio on campus to discuss various topics. We’ve talked about everything from demonic encounters to lactose intolerance, and we’ve shared personal confessions, among many other things. I love this group, and I can’t wait to see what God does in and through all of us!

  1. Toby, thank you for sharing some behind the scenes details. We are praying for you everyday, multiple times a day! You are right where God wants you and we could not be more proud. Please remember to slow down, listen, and obey. You are an inspiration to me and so many others. Rest well today!

A prayer that I have said at least two times a day for the past year is, “Lord, I pray that You will take my feet and guide me down Your path, take my hands and help me do the work You want done, and take my tongue and inspire me to say the things You want me to say.” When God revealed to me that this was what he wanted me to do, I couldn\\\'t help but laugh at the extraordinary ways He has worked in my life.
